By participating in HackNova 3.0, you agree to the following rules:
1. Eligibility-
Open to students and developers.

Participants may compete individually or in teams of 1–4 members.

Each participant may only join one team.
-
All participants must register and submit projects through Devpost.
-
Organizers, judges, and sponsors directly involved in the event are not eligible to compete.

All project work must be completed during the official hackathon duration.
-
Submissions must be made on Devpost before the stated deadline.
-
Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered.
- GitHub repositories with commits after the submission deadline will be disqualified.

Projects must align with one of the official tracks:

Projects must be original and built during the hackathon, which should be reflected in the submitted GitHub repository.

Use of open-source libraries, APIs, SDKs, and frameworks is permitted.

Pre-existing projects are not allowed. However, boilerplate code and starter templates are permitted.

All code must be shared via a public GitHub repository at the time of submission.
Each submission must include:

Demo video (3–5 minutes)

Live demo link (if applicable)
Submissions missing required components may be disqualified.

All judging decisions are final.
6. Code of ConductHackNova 3.0 is committed to maintaining a respectful and inclusive environment. Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct will result in disqualification and possible removal from the event.
7. Intellectual PropertyParticipants retain ownership of their projects. By submitting, participants grant the organizers the right to showcase their projects for promotional and non-commercial purposes.
8. Right to DisqualifyOrganizers reserve the right to disqualify teams that violate the rules, submit plagiarized content, or engage in unethical behavior.
